| Born the sole heir of King Raminas of Dalmasca, Princess Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca, hereby known as Ashe, enjoyed an idealistic childhood growing up in the warmth and security of the Royal Palace of Rabanastre. Politically, tensions stirred between Dalmasca's neighbouring nations - Archadia and Rozarria, and in the urgency for a unity in Ivalice, Ashe was married to Lord Rasler Heios Nabradia, creating an alliance between their small countries. Despite the basis for their marriage, Ashe and Rasler were truly in love. Which made it all the more tragic that war put an end to their short time together, resulting in the death of her beloved husband, her father, and the fall of her kingdom. Ashe herself was believed dead for two years, in which time she joined the resistance against Archadia, determined to reclaim her throne and free Dalmasca. This goal was accomplished, thanks to Ashe's determination and the assistance of an unlikely band of comrades, who became the Princess' closest friends and allies. Following this victory, Ashe was crowned Queen of Dalmasca. |
